Crystal Link Transmission

Crystal Link started out beaming football into hotel bars across the continent, and they never lost their taste for the late-night crowd. Today they're cable's home for fight sports across Europe, with their biggest following in Germany and France, then Spain, Italy and Poland.

Slick, proud of their production, and picky about who gets on their air. They want Europeans in the cage and a belt on the line.

What they want: a title fight on half their cards, 8 shows a year, and a European fighter on every card.

What they pay: a flat fee for every event they air.

One offer, their numbers. The bigger the network, the longer the deal.

Three ways to get paid

Big channels pay a flat fee per event. Smaller ones pay a share of how many watched. Pay-per-view pays you a cut of every buy.

PPV is its own deal

Cable and streaming don't sell pay-per-view. For that you need a PPV partner.

Their demands

Shows a year, title fights, ranked fighters, a local fighter on every card, even a spot on their reality show.

Warnings and strikes

Fall a little short and it's a warning. Fall well short and it's a strike. Two warnings make a strike.

Three strikes

They come back with worse terms. Take them or lose the deal. A fourth strike and they're gone.

Renewal

They decide before the deal runs out. A clean run earns a better offer. A messy one earns less, or nothing.
